Stephen Filmus’ artwork reflects the essence of the Berkshire landscape.
His ability to perceive and interpret the character of the scene results in a believable sense of place.

Filmus’ inspiration has developed through his close relationship with nature.
In addition, he notes the influences of his father and teacher, artist Tully Filmus;
his brother and fellow artist Michael Filmus and the great tradition of landscape painters.
